This nutcracker is 34cm or 13.4" tall. He is made with light weight (3) yarn suitable for amigurumi and a size 2mm crochet hook.
You will need these colors: white, skin color, red, cobalt blue, black and metallic gold.
You will also need: stuffing, tapestry needle, stitch markers, cardboard, pencil, scissors, aluminum wire, cutting pliers, tiny bit of white felt, a 7mm bead and 5mm black safety eyes.
Crochet hook: size 2mm.
**This nutcracker is made with a yarn under stitch. But if you prefer the yarn over method, then this is definitely possible.
**You can use thicker/thinner yarn with a suitable crochet hook. The end result will then just be slightly bigger/smaller than mine.
