These clowns are made with “FINGERING” weight yarn. Brands such as Catona, Catania, … will work well for this pattern.
I used a 2mm crochet hook.
You will need these colors: skin color, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, neon green, red.
Crochet hook: size 2mm
