Materials:
Yarn: light weight (3) yarn suitable for amigurumi and a size 2mm crochet hook in:
- light blue
- metallic blue
Crochet hook: size 2mm
Stuffing – stitch marker – scissors – tapestry needle
Abbreviations:
- ch: chain
- sc: single crochet
- inc: increase = make 2 single crochet in the same stitch
- dec: decrease = single crochet 2 stitches together
Row examples:
*2sc, inc, 2sc* repeat till end = 2sc, inc, 2sc, 2sc, inc, 2sc, 2sc, inc, 2sc, ..
*3sc, inc* repeat till end = 3sc, inc, 3sc, inc, 3sc, inc, ..
The color of yarn you are to use for your row, is mentioned at the end of the row. When nothing is mentioned, use the same color as the previous row.

- yarn off but leave a tail. With this tail you make a loop on top of the crocheted piece. Make sure the loop is big enough to fit around the branches of your Christmas tree
- sew the top piece on top of the ornament
- you now leave it as it is or embroider on the ornament like I did. I used my metallic blue yarn for this (see the picture above the title of this pattern)
- To make a smaller ornament: use a yarn UNDER single crochet/ use thinner yarn/ use a smaller hook
