Flower Keychain

Materials:

Yarn: light weight (3) yarn suitable for amigurumi and a size 2mm crochet hook in:

• Yellow
• Blue
• Red
• Green
• Pink
• Orange
• Purple

Crochet hook: size 2mm

Stuffing – stitch markers – tapestry needle – scissors – two 10mm wiggly eyes – glue – keychain ring

Abbreviations: (click on the stitch name to go to a tutorial about that stitch)

• Ch(s): chain(s)
• Sl st: slip stitch
• Sc: single crochet
• Inc: increase = make 2 single crochet in the same stitch

The color of yarn you are to use for your row is mentioned at the end of the row. When nothing is mentioned, use the same color as the previous row.

Work only in back or front loops when this is mentioned. When nothing is mentioned, work in both loops.

Pattern:

Front and back pieces of the middle:

Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with yellow

Row 2: inc in every stitch (12)

Row 3: *1sc, inc* repeat till end (18)

Row 4: *1sc, inc, 1sc* repeat till end (24)

Row 5: *3sc, inc* repeat till end (30)

Row 6: *2sc, inc, 2sc* repeat till end (36)

• sl st in the first stitch
• yarn off but leave a long tail
• make the second piece the same way

Petals (make 6 and each in a different color):

Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with pink/red/blue/green/purple/orange

Row 2: inc in every stitch (12)

Row 3-6: 1sc in each stitch (12)

• make a total of 6 petals, each in a different color
• sew the yellow front and back middle pieces together and stuff while doing that
• attach the keychain ring
• glue on wiggly eyes
• sew the petals around the yellow pieces (for each petal you will need to attach it to 6 stitches of the yellow front piece and 6 of the yellow back piece of the middle of the flower)
