In this crochet stitch tutorial I explain to you how to make the “slip stitch”. It’s a really easy and simple stitch. It’s also one I use to connect the last stitch to the first before I yarn off. Gives the last row a neat look.

Next up is the step by step picture tutorial. My only comment about the slip stitch is that it’s best not to pull the yarn too tight. It would create very tight slip stitches and that would change the shape of the finished item.
