Supplies:
Yarn: light weight (3) yarn suitable for amigurumi and a 2mm crochet hook in:
- white
- red
- green
Crochet hook: 2mm
Stuffing – tapestry needle – stitch marker – scissors
Abbreviations: (click on the stitch name to go to a tutorial about that stitch)
- Ch(s): chain(s)
- Sl st: slip stitch
- Sc: single crochet
- Hdc: half double crochet
- Dc: double crochet
- Dec: decrease = work 2 stitches together with a single crochet
- Inc: increase = make 2 single crochet in the same stitch

The color of yarn you are to use for your row is mentioned at the end of the row. When nothing is mentioned, use the same color as the previous row.
Work only in back or front loops when this is mentioned. When nothing is mentioned, work in both loops.
I used an invisible decrease and invisible increase stitch instead of normal decrease and increase stitches.

Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with red
Row 2: inc in every stitch (12)
Row 3: *1sc, inc* repeat till the end (18)
Row 4: *1sc, inc, 1sc* repeat till the end (24)
Row 5: *3sc, inc* repeat till the end (30)
Row 6: *2sc, inc, 2sc* repeat till the end (36)
Row 7-9: 1sc in every stitch (36)
Row 10: *2sc + 1 spike stitch* repeat till the end (36) with white
* I made the spike stitches different lengts
Row 11: 1sc in every stitch (36)
Row 12: *2sc, dec, 2sc* repeat till the end (30)
Row 13: *3sc, dec* repeat till the end (24)
Row 14: *1sc, dec, 1sc* repeat till the end (18)
row 15: *1sc, dec* repeat till the end (12)
- stuff now
Row 16: *1sc, dec* repeat till the end (8)
Row 17-18: 1sc in every stitch (8)
- Yarn off but leave a tail. Use this tail to make a loop at the top of the ornament. Make sure the loop is big enough to fit around the branches of your Christmas tree.
Holly leaf pattern:
Row 1: ch11 with green

Row 2: start in the second ch from the hook: 2sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2hdc, 1sc, inc twice in the last ch, 1sc, 2hdc, 2dc, 2hdc, 2sc (22)
Row 3: *2sl st, ch3, make 1sl st in the first ch you made* repeat till the end
- make 1sl st in the first stitch
- yarn off
- make a second holly leaf
Berry pattern:
Row 1: 6sc in a magic ring with red
Row 2: inc in every stitch (12)
Row 3: 1sc in every stitch (12)
Row 4: dec 6 times and stuff while doing this (6)
- yarn off but leave a tail
- sew the berry and holly leaves on the ornament
