This is an easy to follow crochet pattern for a Virgin Mary bust. The whole thing was made with a yarn under single crochet but you can definitely use yarn over if you wish to do so.

Product Description:
The bust of Virgin Mary is 20cm (8″) tall (including stand). It is made with light weight (3) yarn suitable for amigurumi and a size 2mm crochet hook.
I made it with a yarn under single crochet. You can however, make it with a yarn over single crochet if you wish to do so.
You will need these colors: skin color, white, blue, dark brown, red (small amount) and black (small amount).
You will also need: stuffing, aluminum wire, cutting pliers, cardboard, scissors, pencil, tapestry needle, stitch markers, glue, glue gun, rhinestone trim and cotton buds.
Crochet hook: size 2mm.
**You can use thicker/thinner yarn with a suitable crochet hook. The end result will then just be slightly bigger/smaller than mine.
